Fire-resistant glass floors are fire-resistant supporting structures which are a bright element of interior design, perform an aesthetic function, and help to provide sufficient light levels of daylight. In the case of fire, they become a barrier to its spread and create conditions for the safe evacuation of people and property. Our translucent floors can withstand loads of up to 400 kg/m2 (possibility of finding up to 4 people per 1 m2 of construction), and under the influence of open flame and high temperatures.
PHOTOTECH glass floors are able to maintain unchanged marginal conditions in terms of degrees R, E and I within a given time (from 15 to 60 minutes):
- R - does not lose load-bearing capacity, does not deform, does not collapse;
- E - maintains integrity, does not form holes and cracks;
- I - does not heat from the side opposite to the fire.
Profile material
Translucent fireproof flooring by PHOTOTECH is made of fireproof glass framed with steel supporting constructions. The frames can be painted in any color on the RAL scale or decorated by sublimation. To increase the fire-resistance limit of the metal frame we use our own patented development: a unique system called STOPFIRE™, which fills the profile chambers with heat-resistant and heatabsorbing materials.
Types of translucent filling
We complete the doors with double-glazed windows made by our own SHIELD™ (ЩИТ™) gel technology. The translucent filling of our fireproof glass units has highlight transmitting capacity and has no optical defects. The company PHOTOTECH is a direct manufacturer of the glass with these special characteristics. If necessary, we can give the fire-resistant glass additional properties: anti-breaking and shock protection, functions of transparency change, electric heating, etc.
