THE FUNCTIONALITY OF ELECTRICCALLY HEATED GLASS
HEATED GLAZING
Electrically heated glass works as an additional (sometimes primary) source of heat. It prevents the room from cooling in panoramic glazing and reduce the load on other heating systems.
NO MISTING AND NO CONDENSATION
The glass is kept at a higher temperature than room temperature, so it does not mist up, and no frost or hoarfrost forms on it. The surface warms up evenly, eliminating frosting.
REDUCED SNOW LOADS
Thermoglass is installed on the roof parts of translucent structures and in skylights in order to make snow melt and prevent icing.
ENERGY SAVING
Electrically heated glass has a multi-layer structure which makes infrared radiation a one-way process. It heats only in the direction of the room, keeping it warm. The energy consumption of such a system is minimal.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONALITY
If necessary, electric heating can be combined with additional functions of fire protection, interior and special glasses (fireproofing, soundproofing, burglarproofing, antibacterial protection, etc.).

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The electric heating function of laminated glass is provided by a transparent coating conducting low-emission, which heats evenly and emits infrared rays towards the room. The electrically heated glass heats to a predetermined temperature for one hour, then the heating stops. Depending on the purpose and area of the heating, thermostats, weather stations or control cabinets are used to adjust and maintain the temperature on the heated element. This can save up to 40% energy. When calculating the maximum output, the intended use of the translucent structure and the need for heating in a particular room are taken into account.
PRODUCTIVITY
POWER SUPPLY
Electrically heated glass is connected to 220V AC without the use of transformers.
MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE
The power is set at the design stage. Customized glass can be manufactured for heating temperatures up to 300 C.
CONTROL
We install temperature controllers for stepless temperature change within specified minimum and maximum values.
DIMENSIONS
Maximum size — 2600x4700 mm, minimum size — 300x300 mm.
CURVED STRUCTURES
Production possibilities allow to make bent (curved) glass with electric heating.
FUNCTIONALITY
It is possible to combine heatable, impact-resistant, fire-resistant and other special glasses in one single glass unit.
